- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Husband was admitted to Norfolk General after suffering a Heart Attack. Emergency Room was good and treatment in ICU was very good until two days following Heart Attack. At that time he was suddenly told at 8:00 p.m. that he was being moved to third floor. There was no consultation with family and the psychology impact of being moved has had a very negative effect on his recovery. The room on third floor was deplorable. He felt he was being shuffled there to die. An hour after being shunted into this truly awful room he signed himself out. We will deal with the consequences ourselves. We are receiving help from our excellent Cardiologist in Hamilton via telephone. Terrible experience.by Ilene StanleyApril 19, 2017
